Apply for Funding

What we fund

We accept applications for grants and/or specific items or services in writing via our Grant Application Form which can be downloaded below and returned by post or electronically. We consider all applications individually and aim to respond within 48 hours.  The application can be for a specific monetary amount or for the purchase of particular products or services.

Once an application is approved, we will try to transfer funds to the applicant(s) electronically and without delay.  We aim to keep bureaucracy to an absolute minimum.

There will be occasions when an application is refused. Please be assured that this will not happen unless at least 2 Trustees have reviewed the request.

What types of applications will we consider?

We will normally only consider one off items of expense such as food, utility bills, council tax, mortgage payments, school clothing, school meals/activities and disability equipment (this is not an exhaustive list) and only where it is apparent that current income, expenses and capital are insufficient.

We will generally limit any grant to a maximum of £1000 (or an equivalent value) – other than in exceptional circumstances.
